About Your Visit

Initial Visit

  • Expect to arrive 30 minutes early if you have not filled out your initial intake paperwork. If you have completed the intake forms, please arrive 15 minutes prior to your visit, to allow for check-in.
  • The length of the appointment will vary depending on the extent of your medical concerns. In the first visit, I will conduct a thorough medical intake, perform physical exams, discuss your goals, and provide you with the best-individualized treatment plan.
  • Treatment plans may consist of any of the services I offer. Depending on your medical history and concerns I might perform treatment at your first visit. In complex cases that require current labs/imaging and past medical records*, I will provide treatments at the following visit.

*If you have an extensive medical history you may provide me with your medical records prior to your visit or contact our office to obtain a medical release form for each of your previous doctors. It is helpful to have a copy of your most recent labs within the last year. This will give me time to review and prepare and make the best use of our time together.

    Follow-up Visit

    • At this time we will review labs, provide treatments, and monitor the progress of current treatment. We can also discuss new concerns.

      Treatment Plans

      • Whether you receive treatment during your first or follow-up visit I ensure you are part of the process. I take pride in making patient-oriented treatment plans. This doesn’t only allow patients to be involved and make informed decisions in their care but it also helps patients be compliant with treatment. I want our patients to be 100% on board with their care!

      A Different Kind of Doctor

Through my years of studying and practicing naturopathic medicine, and curiously seeking to understand the root cause of disease, I have come across wisdom and understanding of the human design. God created all forms of life, including humans. He created the skies, waters, sun, all the plants and animals; and at the end God created man and woman, and it was SO SO GOOD! Due to the fall of humanity and falling into sin; the original design, which was created perfect; is no longer perfect. I have asked, seeked and knocked the door; praying that God help me to understand the root cause of many people’s disease states. Overtime, God has revealed that without addressing the soul and spirit, we will never find true healing.

Conventional medicine focuses on the physical body, and unfortunately, often times they fail to fully assessing, diagnosing and treating the physical body. Why? Because they are not trained to listen to person sitting in front of them and ask the right questions. They are not trained to communicate effectively with real people. The patient is a person, with real needs. Sometimes those needs are much deeper than treating diabetes, it is understanding them, their life, their traumas and how we can help them create sustainable lifelong change.

Every person I work with chronic disease, autoimmune disease, cancer or any condition, has a story. A story that lead to their dis-ease. The word prefix “dis” and “dys” comes from Latin and it means “apart” or “separate”. Dis-ease means apart from ease. Dysfunction means apart from proper function. Disorder means apart from orderliness. Our bodies are the last place that reflect these imbalances, and often times begin from relationships in our lives from childhood and on. The internal and external experiences of a human do not align and the soul and spirit know this. Over time of being out of balance, unease, lacking proper function and order; our body begins to give us signs and unfortunately, many people ignore those signs until they manifest in disease.

As a naturopathic medical doctor and a follower of Jesus Christ, the greatest healer and redeemer, I am so passionate, grateful and blessed to be able to help people, to help God’s people find healing in a whole-person experience. Healing the spirit and soul, is something I can’t do, only GOD heals these areas of who we are. My role is to be fully present and do a full person assessment: physically, mentally, emotionally, lifestyle, relationships, trauma and help you, the person, connect to your inner self: the soul. The rest is between the person and God to have a relationship in spirit.

I have witnessed how God has worked through people in such miraculous ways; and I am just God’s instrument, a vessel, a tool; He does the deep healing work. While I am your guide. I hope to be able to work with people, without judgement or criticism; and taking a bold, courageous move to help you in your healing. I am here to help you in your transformation process.

I am a different type of doctor. I work different. I am not for everyone, but I am for those who still believe and have hope, not just to heal their physical body; but the healing of their soul. This life is not our ultimate destination. God wants us to be in His Kingdom, and I want to be a faithful servant to help point others to The Way…Jesus Christ.

Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.

      My Approach

Oftentimes, people come to me with a medical diagnosis that has been “given” to them by a doctor who did not do enough medical investigation. When I assess my clients there is a lot of time that goes into a visit prior, during and after. When I make a recommendation, whether for testing or treatments, it is because of the following:

      1.

My education, training and continuing education has served me well to make that judgment call from a place of knowledge and wisdom. The knowledge backed by science. The understanding of anatomy and physiology, and all the foundations of medical science.

      2.

The accumulation of my clinical experience with patients. I see patterns and these patterns lead me to research and further explore medical science. I also continue to expand my training and knowledge of natural therapeutics and their specific mechanisms of action. I understand how the therapies work best in particular conditions; AND which ones don’t.

      3.

I perform extensive and comprehensive labs that is outside of conventional medicine standard of care. Many times, these labs are very revealing about the root cause of a person’s disease. They can vary for comprehensive gastrointestinal function, sex hormones, full thyroid panels, neurotransmitter testing, heavy metals, environmental toxins, immune system function test, and so much. Based on what the patient shares in our discussion and upon my assessment, we determine which are the best labs to start with and the next step of assessing.

      4.

I use high quality grade supplements, herbs, and therapies; that are safe and highly effective. I am trained and experienced in how to use “Therapeutic Dosing” to achieve safe RESULTS!!!

      5.

My own God given intuition and discernment. I believe in a Creator that created everything living. A Creator that created us and our environment to work symbiotically. When my education, training or experience is limited in medical care, I go to The One that created it all. I don’t wait to go to my Creator as a last resort, I begin my care with God in mind, body and spirit; as He is the Creator of it all. And He never fails to reveal the perfect plan for people.
Therefore, when I make a recommendation there is a credible and reasonable reason for the recommendations I make, and the approach to care I take. When people do not trust or follow the guidance, it doesn’t work. I realize people are hurt and wounded by their experience with the medical system, which is why I offer a FREE 15-minute phone consultation, for both of us to get to know a little about each other before deciding to work together. I do not believe in forcing anyone to do anything they don’t want, and I also believe it is equally important for both the doctor and patient (client), to enter a mutual working relationship based on respect, kindness, compassion, trust and peace.
