Naturopathic Manipulation

It’s critical to ensure that properly alignment of the spine for optimal health. We can perform manipulation techniques.

Physical medicine may consist of numerous therapies that promote proper movement and function of the body. Your body also needs some physical attention in order to feel better. Physical medicine has many uses to correct spinal or joint subluxations; create the movement of lymph and blood for healing or release fascial adhesions or restrictions.

Hydrotherapy

Hydrotherapy is application of hot and cold water to the body using very precise techniques. This causes the movement of blood and lymph, which increases blood flow to the area, in doing so carrying more oxygen and nutrients. It can be used to stimulate the immune system or is used in detoxification programs. We typically recommend several treatments to see results. Sessions typically last an hour and many patients report feeling relaxed afterwards, followed by increased energy and improved overall health.

Craniosacral Therapy (CST)

CST is a gentle, hands-on approach that releases tensions deep in the body to relieve pain and dysfunction and improve whole-body health and performance. It was pioneered and developed by osteopathic physician Dr. John E. Upledger after years of clinical testing and research at Michigan State University where he served as professor of biomechanics. CST can help address the following conditions:

  • Concussions and traumatic brain injury
  • Migraines and headaches
  • Chronic neck and back pain
  • Stress and tension related disorders
  • Motor-coordination impairments
  • Brain and spinal cord injuries
  • Chronic fatigue
  • Fibromyalgia
  • TMJ syndrome
  • ADD/ADHD
  • Learning disabilities
  • PTSD
  • Orthopedic problems
  • And many other conditions

Manual Muscle Testing (Applied Kinesiology)

Applied Kinesiology (AK) is a system that evaluates structural, chemical and mental aspects of health using manual muscle testing combined with other standard methods of diagnosis. AK, a non-invasive system of evaluating body function that is unique in the healing arts, has become a dynamic movement in health care in its relatively short existence.

The combined terms “applied” and “kinesiology” describe the basis of this system, which is the use of manual muscle testing to evaluate body function through the dynamics of the musculoskeletal system. Treatments may involve specific joint manipulation or mobilization, various myofascial therapies, cranial techniques, meridian and acupuncture skills, clinical nutrition, dietary management, counseling skills, evaluating environmental irritants and various reflex procedures.

Pranic Healing

Pranic Healing® is a simple yet powerful & effective system of no-touch energy healing. It is based on the fundamental principles that the body is a self-repairing living entity that possesses the ability to heal itself and that the healing process is accelerated by increasing this life force that is readily available from the sun, air and ground to address physical & emotional imbalances. Master Choa Kok Sui says “Life Energy or prana is all around us. It is pervasive; we are actually in an ocean of Life Energy. Based on this principle, a healer can draw in Pranic Energy or Life Energy from the surroundings.”

Pranic Healing® requires no drugs, gadgets, not even physical contact with the subject. Physical contact is not required because the practitioner is working on the bioplasmic or energy body and not directly on the physical body. This energy body, or aura, is the mold or blueprint that surrounds and interpenetrates the physical body. It is the energy body that absorbs life energy and distributes it throughout the physical body, to the muscles, organs, glands, etc. The reason Pranic Healing® works on the energy body is that physical ailments first appear as energetic disruptions in the aura before manifesting as problems in the physical body.
